scrap quilt

I am so glad to see this quilt done. I started it in february and was pushing through all my scraps. But then I put the borders on wrong and then put the bottom on the frames backwards so the top and bottom fought the whole time. I grumbled everytime I worked on it. I have 2 ugly spots that caused grief because I put my borders on wrong but I actually love the way it looks. I thought I would show you the frames I quilt it on. Bad lighting but oh well.

Howards Art

Howards art project was chosen to be in the schooldistrict art fair. We went and walked through the fair. Howard was so excited. I can't wait to have his picture come home so I can put it up. Look at his face. funny kid.

Mormon Prom

Mormon prom was last weekend, Melissa and a bunch of youth from church went. Brianne came over and did makeup with Melissa. I attempted hair on Melissa (only took 3 times). If you know me I am not great at hair, but I am pretty darn proud-think it turned out great. She went with Ray. I think she looks like a princess. What a cutie. I am proud of her and all of the girls for looking so beautiful and modest.They had a great time.

Easter

This month has gone so fast. We had a nice easter, the kids loved coloring eggs and that darn easter bunny always hides the baskets so hard. Melissa found hers before I could take a picture. It was at the top of her closet.
