I WON

My sweet visiting teacher/friend Sara had a giveaway on her blog for her birthday. She made these cute cards, well anyway I entered thinking I never win anything and I WON. Yea!! I was so excited. She is so crafty, I am so excited for the cards. Just wanted to share my luck.

Dog/dinosaur dream blankets

I finished these 2 quilts last week. I like this pattern because it is easy and frames a cute print. I made this for Ms Lori, I worked with her for 2 years and she is having a little boy next month.
The love my dog is the back. cute isn't it?

I made this for some friends who are having a boy. I love the dinosaurs. Roarrr. The back is the same as the white stripe between the pinwheels. I have to send this in the mail and am anxious for them to get it. I only have 1 top left and I have started another quilt. It is an addiction.

Swing Batter Swing

Howard is playing baseball. He loves it. He is playing different positions. He really liked playing first base and was pretty good. He has a good eye and can hit each time he is at bat. I love their uniforms this year -the black and white look awesome. Yes the white is hard to keep clean but look how nice it looks. Last week before the game Howard just rolled in the dirt so he would be dirty to start with. sigh. love that kid.

Run Kick Run

Russell was so excited for soccer, he was getting to play a sport just like his brothers. He can't wait until he is 5 to play basketball and football -- so soccer is all his. He was very apprehensive at first (no clue where that came from) but warmed up near the end of the season. He had a lot of fun playing and was scoring several goals each week. The last game he was so excited he had "4 1/2 goals"- he missed one. It has been a busy spring with all the boys playing sports and Melissa trying to do drivers ed. But soccer has now ended. Russell will have to wait until next year for more. Good thing he has brothers and we have lots of sports equipment.

Secrets and best buds

Yesterday just before bedtime Russell lifted up Huckleberry's ear and was whispering to him. I asked him what he was saying and he told me he was telling Huckleberry to come and climb in bed with him. They are best buds. Warms my heart. This picture was taken last summer. I didn't get my camera out quick enough but I think this shows you the love they have for each other.
