Gator Room

In January when we traded the boys rooms we finished Andrews new room (howards old room) but still needed to do something with Howards new room with Russell (Andrews old room). We had all the supplies just needed the time and energy to make it a cute gators room. When mom and dad visited we finished it, Yea!! I wasn't sure about the orange, but love it. As you can see by Howards face he likes it too.

Another Dad

I was making dinner for Greg for fathers day today and thought I forgot to mention another Dad, Gregs Dad (we are cooking dinner for him tomorrow). We are blessed to have him and mom live downstairs with us. He loves his grandkids and spends lots of time with them. Howard planted the garden with him this year. Happy Fathers Day to him too.

Awesome Dads

It is Fathers Day, as I think about my own dad I was thinking about how friendly he is. I remember growing up and he would talk to everyone after church and Dennis and I would decide to walk home instead of waiting for him. He is a talker and I love him. Greg says I am a talker too. :) (hopefully it doesn't drive my kids too crazy either) . I have also been thinking about my kids awesome dad, my husband. He is an awesome dad. he loves his kids so much. He is really involved in their lives, whether it is coaching them or taking them driving. I am so blessed to have him. Happy Fathers Day.

12 years

Time goes so fast. Last weekend Andrew turned 12. I can hardly believe it. Greg set him apart as a deacon last week, and today he was able to pass the sacrament. I am so proud of him and the decisions he is making in his life. He is becoming a great young man. Great job Andrew!!

family smore's

We roasted marshmallows and made smores. Mom and dad said it had been a long time since they had made them. we had a great time enjoying the nice night outside.

Star quilt

I finished this quilt this week. I can't tell you who the quilt is for because it is a suprise but you will know it is yours if you get it. I can't wait until this person gets this quilt. They are going to be so suprised. I am almost giddy about it. My favorite part of quilting is making the tops, I love the cutting and putting it together. It has been fun to make.

June

It has been a busy, fun week. My mom and dad came out to spend a week with us. We have enjoyed having them around. One night Dad played around the world and horse with Andrew and Howard. The kids still had school so they walked Howard to the bus stop, he was so excited. It has been nice to spend time with them. We sure miss seeing them. I will blog more later.
